Biography

I am a Senior Research Scientist in the AI/ML group at Biohub New York. Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Computational and Systems Biology program of Sloan Kettering Institute working with Dr. Christina Leslie. I received my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University in the Genomic Signal Processing Lab, advised by Dr. Edward R. Dougherty.

Research Interests

My research focuses on developing universal AI models of gene regulation in immune cells, capturing cis-regulation, trans-regulation, and intercellular signaling by using single-cell multiomic observational, spatial, time-resolved, and perturbational data across diverse biological contexts to understand, engineer, and reprogram the immune system to prevent and treat diseases.
